New Changes28Mar 2007 - Worldcage and TempleHello, everyone! Welcome to another fun day at the Temple.Today's changes take the form of some additions... Firstly, we have the two, obvious additions: The FAQ and the Chatroom. If you look in the bar to your left, you will find both buttons, sitting squarely where you can press them. Now, if you have a question, your answer is at your fingertips. Want to start a game with all your YIM buddies? Guess what! We support it! Our next big addition has been a Wiki. Yep, that's right. Now, if you want to brush up on your Temple history, you can. All GMs are invited to make their way to the Wiki and keep a record of their gameplay there! Eventually, we'll make our way over to a real wikia. Until then, have fun! Finally, I'd like to take this time to welcome our latest Staff member to the fold. Give a warm welcome for Kensai. She comes to us from the ACTD forums and brings a good deal of video game and computer experience. Welcome aboard, Adjudicator Kensai! Sometime in the upcoming month of April, we will be making some sweeping changes. Everything from sub-boards to open chat games, even a new Worldcage RPG system! We're looking into making our chat systems better and getting ourselves bolstered for the upcoming summer months. You heard it here first. Plans are underway for the Temple of the Heavens's Second Birthday Party. Slated for mid-April, the Temple staff has alread begun looking for possible locations and planning events. Information will be up in time to put in for it off, so get ready for it. -eunhathes, Guardian-Curator
Holding things Together17Feb 2007 - Worldcage and TempleThough it's been several months since I've done much else with the site, however, I ithink it's time for some updates. Recently, we've been stepping up the number of new games. There's the new Mission Accepted game, using Antaeus's homebrewed Longsword. Of course, in the Shortsword varieties. Then there's Celest's Heavens High game and authroroniel's Secret of Mana game, as well as the Hatter's Vampire: The Masquerade game. All of these have opened recently or are expected to in the near future. Secondly, there is the rumor of a new edition of the Worldcage game. No details as of yet as to when the game will begin, but know that the staff is working on the system as you read this. This brings me to the final points of my little update: The Temple itself. We've been talking about expansion and promising things for quite a while. Well, I've finally opted to focus more on the site than on my other projects. As my primary work, I am going to attempt to make the Temple a bit more welcoming and a bit more open to the masses. Once more, good folks, we go into the fold! -eunhathes, Guardian-Curator
It Has Begun10Oct 2006 - Worldcage and TempleWelcome to the new Worldcage layout. Simply put, we are putting much more dedication and effort into the site from now on. To do so, we need a stronger, more unified layout. Operations will be expanded, people will be gathered, news will spread. Our new layout comes to us as my brainchild. Desiring to keep with the better ideas, we've lightened the mood from the original, yet kept some of the familiar aspects you're already used to, like the "banner bar" at the top and bottom of the Temple and the nifty mouseover menu on the left of the other pages on the 'Cage. All of this is designed to keep you in the loop and able to get from A to B in the fewest clicks possible. Currently, due to some mishaps with the original coding, the site is about a day behind schedule. As it is, it looks to be getting its final codes sometime in the next week, possibly tomorrow or the day after. As such, we ask you to bear with us. Most of the links are broken. However, I promise they will be up and running by next week. Thank you, everyone, for holding out with us here. Let's keep it up! -eunhathes, Guardian-Curator
